Laundries
In the early months your baby will get through up to 10 nappies a day although as your baby grows the number of changes reduces to about 4 a day.
Although modern washing machines have made the washing process much easier for parents you might already feel daunted by the extra washing a small baby can create! If this is the case you might want to try a laundry service.
Nappy laundries offer to do all the washing for you, taking your dirty nappies away and delivering a freshly laundered supply in their place. Many use a prefold system but some also provide a choice of nappy system, giving you more flexibility.
At approximately £10 - £15 a week a laundry service can offer a convenient alternative to home laundering and in some areas of the country you are able to use Local Authority vouchers to provide a discount or nappy laundry trial.
