So, you are ready to share your Real Nappy Secret but just need a little help with finding out how? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Volunteer

During Real Nappy Week there are hundreds of events organised to take place all across the country, often run by Local Authorities or Real Nappy retailers. If you are keen to get involved with an event, to meet other parents and give them your opinion of Real Nappies but don’t have the time to organise anything yourself, why not volunteer? Just let us know where you are based and we will try and put you in touch with an existing group or organization.

Organise Your Own Event

If there is nothing planned for your area or you are keen to do something yourself you can organise a whole range of events, from displays to nappy mountains and fashion shows. Take a look at our handy guides to get some ideas and advice on running events:

Once you have decided on an event and have it all organised, advertise in your local area using our Real Nappy Week Poster.

Share Your Secret to the Local Community

Perhaps you’d like to share your secret on a smaller scale. You could visit your local antenatal group or a baby and parent group to tell them about your experience of using Real Nappies or just to be on hand to answer questions. Or invite some friends over for a chat about Real Nappies and see if you can persuade them to give it a go. Talk to the Press

If you are holding an event you will want to let your local press know all about it and you can use our press release template to do that. Just download the release and add your details where indicated.

If you aren’t holding an event but are still keen to share your Real Nappy Experience why not give your local newspaper or radio station a call just before the week to tell them all about Real Nappy Week and ask whether they would be interested in interviewing you. Put up a Poster

Just by putting up some posters in your local community you could be helping to get someone the advice that they need to get started with Real Nappies. Put them on local notice boards, at your local playgroup or in your doctor’s surgery.
