Description:

The inner is a soft, absorbant microfibre fabric which, as the name suggests, poppers in to the outer wrap, which has ‘pockets’ at front and back similar to wraps used for prefolds, to hold the microfibre nappy element in place. In addition, you can purchase an extra dri-night Booster which wraps around the inner and works really well at making the reusable completely leak free for long use - for instance at night time or long journeys. Microfibre is super-soft and while it is one of the most absorbamt fabrics available in real nappies, it is also really quick to dry which makes it an ideal choice for busy parents. The entire inner portion comes out of the outer shell for washing - meaning you avoid a lot of the conventional problems with all in ones - like a less thorough wash and a longer drying time - as each element is washed and dried separately and therefore more efficiently.

The outer is really nice and soft - lined with poly urethane to make it leak-proof, the fabric coating means it looks and feels softer than traditional wraps. It has great stretchy tabs at the side, which give a great range of adjustability, and fasten on to a soft touch wash tab on the inside to prevent snagging during the wash, which can degrade the aplix fastening on real nappies . The leg binding has a lovely double gusset which is also a great addition for keeping the outer leakproof.

On the front are three rows of poppers which you can leave unfastened for older babies, or fasten down to the smallest setting for new borns. These adjust the rise really well, and in conjunction with the side tabs, ensure a comprehensive range of fit for these cloth nappies . (Please note the images are for illustration purposes and the colour may vary from the item being described).

The dri-night Booster fastens around the insert to bulk up the nappy for night-time use, or for long journeys or heavy wetters.

All of our testers have loved this real nappy , and we're sure it's set to become a firm favourite amongst cloth nappy fans.

    not so sure

After reading the reviews I decided to order one of the pop-in dream dry. The problem of this birth to potty is that it does not seem to be made for small babies at all. The fact is if you have a fairly skinny baby the nappy will bunch up badly making it difficult to use. I didn't leave it on my daughter for long because I was concerned that the bunching was putting pressure on her skin, especially around the inside of the legs. Also there isn't any way of reducing the absorbent pad so that ends up bunching too. For now it's in a drawer waiting for the little one to grow up but by then I fear that the absorbancy just won't be enough to cope with the output...Shame.

    really useless nappy

I've tried and tried with this nappy but still with no luck. We started when my son was a few weeks old and the nappy buried him. I also didn't like the elastic ruffled material across his back as it left a deep red mark. Not to mention the fact that every time he wee'd it hit the front flap and was channelled round the back of the nappy and out onto his clothes. we tried turning the flap up and then tried over but the leaks were persistent. 4 out of 5 nappy changes were a full cloth changes. Even when he was this small the nappies seemed drenched at every change (2-3 hours). The elastic gathered material round the leg also left red marks all round his legs. So we gave up for a while until he was bigger. Once he was 3 months we tried again. They still seemed bulky on him but now he was sat up more the wee was constantly leaking out of the leg holes. The poppers that adjust the size create a fold in the front of the nappy outer allowing the wee to just pour down his leg. He's now 5 months and I'm attempting again. The first few nappies have been ok but there are still problems with the nappies being so wet, they feel wet to touch. Even with the night booster the maximum length of time I can leave these nappies on is about 4 hours. They are still very bulky and the gathered elastic across the back and around the legs still leave red marks. There are also problems with the washing, I found that, unless they were washed at 60 degrees every time, then they came out with stains and smelt. Also the elastic folds round the legs collected poo and regardless of the washer temperature they would still be there when they came out. The outer nappy has also washed really badly the colour has dulled and they are really bobbley. So far they have been a total waste of money and I cant afford to buy different nappies. I just hope that I can get some use out of them once he's on the largest size setting although I don't have much hope.

    Using Real Nappies for ages

This nappy wasn't too bad on a newborn but as my baby has got bigger I find it leaks and does not last very long at all.
The nappy works just like a prefold and in my opinion it is an expensive prefold system.
