We bought these for our little girl to use after the first few weeks of "baby fog" had passed. At first I thought it was how I was using or washing them, but after a few weeks I realised it wasn't normal to leak that much! So I went to Mothercare to complain...I got a full refund. Make of that what you will, but how often does that happen unless there is a fault in the product?!

Generally worked really well for us

I have had my son in these nappies on and off from about 6 weeks. In general they work very well but I have made the mistake, or sometimes, out of necessity, of washing the outers on a hot load, and they lose their waterproofness very quickly that way. I am also finding now they're a bit older that they tend to give him nappy rash. However I loved how easy they were for the commitment shy, enabling me to buy them one at a time, rather than shelling out for a £300 pack.

Great nappies, had to customize outers

The nappies are great, fine fit, good absorbency, dry quickly. I had to customize the outers, though, because the edge of the velcro scratched baby's tummy, simply go over it with the sewing machine on zig zag stitching. The cradle keeps nappy in place. I love the nappies but find downsides to the outers.

    lovely nappies

A great nappy, didn't have any probs with leaks, were easy to use anywhere. I used them in small and medium, but used a cheaper nappy when going into bigger size.

    Mothercare smart nappies

We've used these and Pop-in nappies. Have found the mothercare brand easy to use with their non-fiddly inserts and the fact that they're sized means that they're not too bulky at any point. However I made the mistake of washing the outers on a hot setting and they all started leaking. Drying time is brilliant, though, and now that my son is on solids they're working pretty well.
