Fine if you are on a budget

Ok so I bought a starter pack of these this summer as I thought they would be lighter for the hot climate we were going to for a month. And they did deliver on that no heat spots, also the fit is very neat and they are affordable. They dry fairly quickly although the middle pad takes longer to dry. I boost them with cut up microfiber cloth which has worked really well, but you do have to boost them otherwise they won't last for long. Containment is very good. There are however 2 drawbacks, the first one is that if and when you buy a pack then do check that it contains what it says in terms of sizes. We have found that mistakes are common. Secondly the top of the wrap against baby's tummy tends to fold in and then the edge of the velcro rubs against baby's tummy making it quite red at times. Because of that I have not bought anymore I think it is a fundamental flaw that mothercare needs to address. (Although some people have found that if you have a sewing machine you can remedy this problem.)It is a shame though that mothercare haven't paid more attention to this as, in principle, this nappy and it's design really stand to deliver.
