The Team at Go Real is passionate about demystifying real nappies.  The reality is, It is confusing when faced with so much choice, so, that is the very reason why Go Real exists - to assist parental choice and make the 'Going Real' process as simple as possible.

Once the choice has been made, we have a bunch of lovely members who can provide you with the right nappy for you. Our website is packed with loads of fantastic information and we are at the end of the line to help with any queries that crop up whilst using Real Nappies.

Our Goal

The goal is to help you feel confident using Real Nappies on a day to day basis so that you can then get on with the real job of parenting!

Our belief is that as long as parents do their very best to use real nappies as much as possible, then the occasional disposable is not the end of the world… Going Real shouldn’t be about making parents feel guilty…it should be about celebrating what’s great about the sector and the choices we can give parents.

The Team

Originally born from the government led Real Nappy Campaign, Go Real is now managed by Real Baby Milk CIC which exists to support and encourage women in making an informed choice when deciding how to feed their babies.

Arwen Folkes - Real Baby Milk CIC Managing Director and Founder (and mum of breastfed/real nappy clad three). Arwen started Real Baby Milk from her kitchen table, as a result of her own personal experience of those early 'heady' days of motherhood - when you could really do with support and information but can't find any when you need it the most. With a strong head for business and marketing, as a new Mum, she soon realised she could call upon the understanding and compassion of other Mums to turn her vision into a reality. Real Baby Milk's Peer Support Training, Breastfeeding Guides and DVDs are now available nationwide as a result.

Bec Thomas - Director of Real Baby Milk and Go Real Founder as well as multi-tasking mummy to Rozzy, Sam, Zennor and Eliza.  Bec is our self-styled nappy guru….what Bec doesn’t know about Real Nappies, isn’t worth knowing!  Bec has run the Cornish Real Nappy Project for many years, providing innovative services and ensuring parents receive the very best advice.  With four children all raised religiously in real nappies, Bec has every answer to every conundrum….if your conundrum is complex, then Bec will be there to help.

Sasha Forsyth - Go Real Project Co-ordinator and day to day contact for members and non-members alike... as well as Mum to breastfed Zach!

Gavin Tyler - Designer and Website Mastermind is father of two and is the token male in the office who knows a surprising amount about Real Nappies and Breastfeeding!

Megan O'Connell - Accounts and Personnel Assistant as well as Health and Inequality Assistant (and mum of breastfed one).
