A - Z of Nappy Jargon
Now there's plenty of unusual words that get thrown around when you start talking Real Nappies, it can be quite a lot to take on board and a bit confusing if you've never heard of a Terry Square or you're completely new to Nappuccinos!
Below we have put together an A - Z of words that we think will help anyone who is new to Real Nappies:
Add further description to current Waterproof Wraps - all nappy types other than 'all in ones' require waterproof Wraps to cover the absorbent part of the nappy. They are all shaped to fit over whatever particular nappy type you go for and will probably be sold as an accompaniment to the type of system you buy. However you may be able to use the same Wrap for all three nappy types but this would be down to trial and error as a good fit prevents leaks. They come in a range of materials, patterns and colours.
Advisor – Someone who can provide help or advice when it comes to using Real Nappies. Quite often this is someone who sells nappies on behalf of a retailer or independently. They are usually mums who have experience of using Real Nappies and they will often offer a no-obligation demonstration for you as an individual or at groups. They are a perfect place to start when you are new to Real Nappies, giving you a fantastic opportunity to get your hands on some nappies and really find out how they work.
